Our Leadership Team
Headed by Founder and CEO Dr. William S. Spears, the leadership team of Energy Education possesses noteworthy educational accomplishments, broad general business experience, and strong functional backgrounds in engineering, accounting, technology, human resources, auditing, marketing, public relations, logistics, and law, not to mention decades of experience in the field of energy management. In addition, each member of the team has a passion for impacting the lives of people, and believes that operating with personal integrity and character is of central importance.
Dr. William Spears, Founder and CEO
Dr. William S. Spears earned his Doctorate of Business Administration Degree from Wayne Huizenga Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University. He holds an MBA from Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Oklahoma State University. He has 26 years’ experience in public school energy management. He served the Wichita Falls Independent School District as Trustee, Board Secretary, Board Vice President and Chairman of the Facilities Committee for six years. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE) and the Association of Energy Engineers. Dr. Spears serves on the boards of numerous civic organizations and financial institutions.
